This textbook takes a rather dry and not always easily understood topic and translates it into an interesting and fun read. I teach acoustics and instrumentation at the graduate level (an AuD program) and find this book to be excellent - as do my students. The authors really know their stuff - and they are also very funny when you least expect it.
