Excellent for teens and their parents

This book is well written and does the difficult job of dealing with sensitive issues in a straightforward yet gentle way. When my 13 year old picked it up she couldn't put it down. It wasn't preachy and was full of first hand accounts of kids growing up and having to make difficult decisions. I also appreciated the wide variety of subjects it dealt with. This is an excellent book for a parent to give to a child or to be used in a classroom setting.
