I think this recording by the Medici Quartet has got a bad rap by the "PENGUIN GUIDE TO COMPACT DISCS".They gave it only 2 stars out of a possible 3 stars and parentheses around one of the stars,which I can't understand.These are vital and elegant performances of a couple of good quartets,and I think the penguin guide should have given this outstanding disc a full three stars.
